spraying the crave away.

i would like to confirm that as of yesterday, the cvs crave-nx ECB deal at cvs was still working. there were no shelf tags to confirm, but it is likely that iheartcvs was correct in reporting that it is a monthly deal. i was able to roll$8 of my $1o expiring extrabucks (i could do worse!), and get a chance to try something new and exciting. on the downside, it tastes like citrus scented air fresheners and baby aspirin had a baby.  yucky.  no thank you, i will not be “aiming for the cheeks”.  actually, i will more than likely be aiming for the trash instead. to its credit, it made me a little nauseous, which in turn made me not want to eat anything.  that is of course until i rinsed out my mouth, and now i’m mowing down a family size bag of smartfood popcorn. oops. not to mention the fact that it’s only a week’s supply! unless they’re planning on giving them away forever, i am not at all interested in adding $8 a week to my bottom line- especially for something that tastes like complete ass.

I disagree. The taste is just like a orange flavored candy. Well, considering glucose is the listed ingredient in Crave-NX that helps relinquish the craves, I guess the sugar flavor should be no surprise. A few sprays and I felt the crave for a sugar snack subside and I injested 2 calories instead of the 100 from Milky Way. In a weird way I felt empowered, since I have a new tool to help in my qwest to be in shape. Beyond the ECB deal, I save money by not buying the more exepnsive snacks. I even feel Crave-NX refreshes my mouth and has an appealing aroma, so the little handheld spray is now a part of my daily routine.

i think we will have to respectfully disagree on this one. too chemically tasting for me (although i also don’t do nutrasweet/splenda/stevia/fake sugar, so maybe i’m just not used to it) although i’m totally jealous that it’s working for you! i had kind of wanted to love it (and have it help me lose weight). maybe i’ll give it one more try! (no promises though) 🙂

$8 for a week?!! Holy Moly!

The real question…was it better than Oust? lol.

yet i think it’s still cheaper than that alli stuff that gives you “oily anal discharge”. if nothing else, funnier than the oust. plus, there was always that outside chance that it might actually help me lose weight (says the girl who just cleaned out half a box of cinnamon toast crunch!). ok, maybe not, but it made for a good story!

OMG I think I just threw up in my mouth a little thinking about the oily anal discharge…. *GAG*

i know, right! you have to read this! it made me laugh inappropriately loud at work!

lol I love the “rolling suitcase of brown clothes”!

I actually bought Alli, and was then too scared to use it after reading the accompanying literature. There are seriously 6 or more booklets, all with repeated warnings about the potential humiliation you could suffer should you have dressing on your salad. The whole (unnecessarily over-packaged) kit is banished to the back of my pantry. So much for that $30.

i read something somewhere about how alli is the fastest selling OTC diet aid in history (or something vaguely like that), i wonder how many people bought it and then got freaked out and didn’t take it? similarly, i wonder how many people out there are silently crapping their pants and hoping nobody notices. frankly, i think you got yourself a good deal. i would pay $30 not to have any embarrassing “treatment effects”. maybe you can sell it on craigslist for $15?

HAHAHAHAHA that was fucking hilarious! But am I wrong in the fact that maybe you could just cut your fat intake at every meal, not take the Alli and save yourself the leakage?? I mean, that’s what I’m reading… lol

yeah, that seems like a more sensible option that doesn’t involve bringing extra pants to work. i can’t believe they actually suggest that! i also can’t believe that people actually buy it! g-r-o-s-s.
